Première représentation du Misanthrope !
NEWS : Keira a fait ses premiers pas sur scènes avec Le Misanthrope à Londres hier !
Il y a encore peu d'avis sur la pièce de théatre mais on peut trouver celle ci concernant Keira :
" Being just 5 rows back and right in the centre i had the perfect view of the perfect Keira in this almost perfect play.[.....]Keira was of course the stand out performance. Billed not as the main character but as focus of the plot i found her performance completely believable and intelligent. Her american accent was to me pretty good and her interaction with the stunning set was a feast for the eyes.Her character (Jennifer) is on the surface, vein self indulgent and utterly aware of her sexuality and damming affect on men but as the play went on Keira was able to turn a seemingly one dimensional, dislikable character in to something innocent and naive, turning raw overbearing sexuality into something flirtatious and endearing.There was light and dark to her performance leading to an emotional outburst that left a lump in my throat.I have always been a fan of hers and during a particular scene between her and the protagonist Alceste (Damian Lewis) the tension and emotion in her performance was truly overwhelming. It felt real to me, almost verging on an insight into how things must be for somebody in the characters position. i was totally taken by her acting and the sincerity behind it and in turn sobering up this fairly 'camp' adaptation."

"Miss Knightley was, in my mind, very very good (especially 2 moments in act 2). She DID hold the stage, as a previous post noted she did in the past at the Young Vic. Her American accent is excellent, and, when the audience weren't sitting in silent scrutiny and finally relaxed a bit, they laughed at her jokes, and reacted well to her. She will INDEED prove the doubters wrong."
"Keira was extremely good. I thought she was even better than Damian Lewis, which was a real surprise to me. She did a wonderful job. "
"You never know what you are going to get when you go to a play starring a big movie star. "In that film I worked opposite Keira Knightley as well, and I just can't say enough amazing things about her.
Keira's just an old soul. She's a beautiful young woman, obviously, but she's got this insane sophistication about her. Again, she's committed to her craft, and I respond to people who take their craft seriously and are really in it for the right reasons. She certainly is. I find her not only inspiring as an actor, because she makes amazing choices, but also inspiring as a person. She's a young lady in a really ugly industry, and I think she's handled everything with such grace. You can tell we got along really well." Très élogieux !:)

Cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas fait de montage,je ne sais pas si c'est par flemme ou par manque d'inspiration,mais le résultat n'était pas là...Aujourd'hui j'ai eu envie de faire un montage de Keira/Elizabeth qui illustre ce pourquoi j'ai fait ce blog : Les moments où Elizabeth apparait dans toute sa beauté .Ce n'est pas ici ma scène préférée,mais Elizabeth y est si belle,simple et douce que c'est un pure moment de grace...
J'espère que ce montage vous plaira,malgré le manque d'application de ces derniers temps !lol
[2/11/09 :Mauvaise News:Contrairement à ce qu'a dit le magazine "The telegraph",Joe Wright ne fera pas My Fair Lady comme il l'a dit à une récente avant première !:s Keira cependant,d'après Joe,devrait bel et bien jouer Eliza .
